With literacy in mind, our goal has been to ensure that there is a children's library in walking distance to every underserved child in Nigeria. To date, we have opened well over 100 children's libraries across the country and we continue to expand. Every Saturday, children are able to walk into libraries to read, learn to read, engage in chess, learn from the profiles of leaders across the world and learn digital skills (in select libraries). Our hope is that these libraries not only offer opportunities for the students to improve their reading but also to expand their minds and develop leadership and technology skills while staying away from vices like drugs, sex and other dangerous activities.
